Governors

On behalf of the Local Governing Body of Millfield LEAD Academy I want to welcome you to our website. Please take a few minutes to have a browse around but most of all please take this opportunity to have a look at the on-line work by the pupils. I’m certain you’ll be impressed.

The Local Governing Body works closely with the school and with the LEAD Academy Trust to provide a high standard of education for all children at Millfield. Our priority is to build on the excellent work already being done so the school continues to improve and provides a motivational and challenging environment to get the best out of our children. The Governors aim to be accessible to all and welcome any interested parents to be involved. There are also great opportunities to help the school via ‘The Friends of Millfield’ group of which you can find contact details here on the website. Why not join in?

Millfield governors are fully involved in the life of the school by monitoring all aspects of provision and performance, through school visits, meeting with teachers, and talking to pupils and parents. We are interested in all of Millfield’s activities, development and its organisation, and we work to maintain regular formal and informal contacts with the school. We are always delighted to get your feedback so don’t hold back, and don’t hesitate to get in touch with me or one of the other governors through the school if you want to ask any questions or make any comments.

Thanks for taking time to look at our website.
